Kruptos 2
Kruptos 2 is very small, but powerful encryptions software, will help those who has something to hide from curious eyes. Or for those who have a bit of paranoia – joke.
Kruptos use public 128-bit encryption algorithm (most of them are public). Developers assure than software has no back doors, hidden keys or something similar, so if you forget the password, no one will able to read your information, including yourself.
Installation progress is easy and clear. Integration with windows explorer (and Total Commander also), so after the right mouse click you will see easy understandable menu, where with just a few clicks we can encrypt or decrypt file or folders. Kruptos encryption software very useful to use with USB or other removable storage, because you can encrypt entire device and will have no worries in case of loosing it.
Also there is possibility to create self-decrypting .exe file, which you can decrypt on computer without this encryption software. File size will change only about 400 kb.
Few notes: when encrypting original files are automatically deleted, only encrypted version are available. Creating self-decrypting .exe file, original file by default not deleted. Or those who forgetful, there are possibility to create password hint.
Non standard feature for such kind of program – Shred. This feature will allow destroying your files and all their traces without possibility to recover them. This is what developers of this encryption software say. But this procedure, in my opinion, is to fast, so I recommend using specialized software for secure information deletion.
